Carval Computing launches new HR and Time & Attendance Apps for iPhone/iPad and Android mobile devices.

Carval Computing, a specialist supplier of fully integrated Human Resources, Payroll and Time & Attendance (T&A) software, is to showcase two new mobile Apps for iOS and Android mobile devices at the HR Software Show, to be held at Olympia, London, on the 18 – 19 June. The two new Apps, designed for both staff and managers, is Carval’s latest development in its on-going commitment to provide fully integrated, easy to access, easy to use HR software. As well as the Apps Carval will be demonstrating its flagship product HR Unity, which takes a single platform approach to providing HR, T&A and Payroll software, and is the only suite of products currently on the market that are truly integrated using the same employee database.
The Time and Attendance App enables staff to clock in and out electronically, using their mobile phones. The App makes use of location data, so that employees have to be at an authorised location (ie. office, site, factory) in order to clock in. The App is flexible enough to also allow different sub-sets of employees to clock in from different locations, so home or mobile workers could clock in from any location.
The HR App enables staff and managers to view their own personnel details such as holiday balance, date of next appraisal, and attendance information. Staff can view holiday information and managers can monitor the current attendance of their teams. In addition, managers are able to contact their team members directly from the App .
