CIPD HR Software Show, 17-18th June 2015, Olympia, London, Stand H320
Carval Computing will be showing the latest enhancements to its HR Unity solution at this year’s CIPD HR Software Show, on 17-18th June, Olympia, London, Stand H320. The new features include a new e-Recruit module, enabling companies to manage the entire recruitment process online from within the HR software, and a significant new Timesheets upgrade. The upgrade integrates timesheets, expenses and mileage claims, enabling each element to be allocated to a department or project, and payments to the employee made together rather than separately. Available from 1st June, the e-Recruit module has been developed as a result of customer demand and is rolling out to customers over the summer. Carval states that just one recruitment made using the e-Recruit module will provide a return on investment over using specialist software or a recruitment agency.
The new e-Recruit module supplements the existing Recruitment module in Carval’s HR system and enables the HR department to create a vacancy and post online from within the software. The system also allows users to create questions for applicants and design how the web page looks. Employee data from successful applicants is retained and used within the company HR system, removing the need for re-keying of personnel details. The Timesheet and Expenses upgrade has been introduced to enable companies to streamline the claims process. It integrates expenses, mileage and timesheets, enabling accounts teams to calculate the true costs of client projects and supports the internal accounts processes used by many public sector organisations.
John Ovington, Sales and Support Director at Carval said; “The CIPD HR Software Show is a great opportunity for us to meet senior HR professionals looking for the latest HR software solutions, suppliers and advice. The new enhancements for HR Unity have been designed to meet the requests of our clients. Both e-Recruit and our updated Timesheet module address the specific needs of HR professionals who have to provide systems that are easy to use for staff and are an efficient way to meet the needs of the business.
“The e-Recruit module is an example where using the latest technology for recruitment can save a company external agency or development costs while giving more control over the whole recruitment process.”
