Childrens’ fashion retailer renowned for quality fabrics and finish invests in retail systems to streamline business and customer service

Eurostop, a leading supplier of retail management and EPOS solutions for the fashion, footwear and lifestyle sectors, has announced that Chateau de Sable, the childrens’ French fashion retailer, has selected Eurostop retail systems for its stores in Singapore. The company is using Eurostop’s e-pos touch till systems and e-rmis to manage stock and head office functions.

Launched by French designer Stéphanie Lemaire, Chateau de Sable’s ‘French touch’ and reputation for quality fabrics and finish has helped the brand to grow, initially in Asia, and now to 27 stores in 11 countries. The company chose Eurostop for its easy to use systems, reducing staff training time and enabling the stores to manage the many different clothing lines efficiently. Chateau de Sable also plans to extend the use of the systems to its franchisees, potentially starting with those located in the United Arab Emirates.

The roll out of Eurostop’s e-pos touch is part of Chateau de Sable’s refurbishment programme across all of its Singapore stores. The till software will be connected to the e-rmis head office system to manage all stock supplied to the stores. e-pos touch utilises the latest Windows technology and has been designed with an intuitive touch screen display for ease of use, speed and reliability. It runs on a range of hand held devices including tablets as well as fixed tills, reflecting the trend for flexibility in adjusting to customer demand in the retail environment.

Raphaelle de Ponsay, Marketing Manager at Chateau de Sable, Singapore said; “We selected Eurostop’s retail system as it is straightforward to use and enables us to manage our stock efficiently. We have found that the user interface makes it easy to train staff, so that they can be up and running very quickly.

“Receiving merchandise is so much faster now. We can put the stock in the store much quicker. We don’t waste time with stock sitting in storage until we have checked it all on the system. Plus we have more visibility of all our orders, making it much easier to track and account for.”

The Singapore stores also plan to introduce Eurostop’s customer loyalty module. Currently customer details, names and email addresses are captured at till point, to identify which customers are regular visitors and notify them of particular new lines. This will enable the stores to reward regular customers and offer promotional incentives or drive engagement

Chris Yeong, Sales Executive, Singapore said; “Clothing retailers like Chateau de Sable have built their unique brand on style, quality fabrics and finish. Their investment in retail systems needs to ensure that it supports the customer experience, by having the right stock in place to meet customer demand. We have designed our systems to support retailers with easy to use management systems helping them to process sales transactions and react swiftly to the ever changing market demands.”
