hfx, pioneer of Flexitime®, enables flexible working for UK public sector with new SaaS offering

hfx, a leading provider of flexible working systems, has announced that its Flexitime Management System has been accepted onto the Government’s G-Cloud 8 digital marketplace. With its ‘one card – one solution’, the hfx solution incorporates access control, photo ID, time and attendance recording, flexitime management and provides seamless integration with HR and payroll systems. Having recently achieved Cyber Essentials accreditation¹, hfx’s cloud solution has comprehensive measures in place to deter cyber crime and offers proven security for clients both in the private and public sectors.

Alex Boa, Director at hfx said; “The acceptance onto the secure government digital marketplace presents us with a great opportunity to deliver our Flexitime Management System to public sector and government clients. As many public sector organisations look to move towards a more flexible workforce in order to maintain services to the public, hfx provides a cost effective and powerful way to manage complex staff working hours.”

The hfx solution is designed to integrate seamlessly with HR, Payroll and other business critical systems, whilst providing a real-time facility to calculate critical business information. It can be configured to meet exact requirements and supports unlimited numbers of work patterns. Organisations can correlate and calculate working hours, meal allowances and travel claims easily and promptly – and see at a glance who is in the office and who is out.

Using the hfx solution to manage flexible working, organisations report more motivated staff, increased job satisfaction and reduced staff turnover and absenteeism. They also claim improved work/life balance opportunities and reduced staff costs and overheads. In addition, the system helps to support the latest changes in employment legislation.

Recent G-Cloud sales figures published by the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) state a current total of £1,263,386,146 since the launch of the digital marketplace, of which over 50% has been awarded to SMEs².

Earlier this year hfx achieved Cyber Essentials accreditation, an independently verified self-assessment against five basic security controls, a minimum requirement since 1 October 2014 for bidding for some government contracts (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/procurement-policy-note-0914-cyber-essentials-scheme-certification).
