Craftsmanship and technology combine to provide bespoke, innovative clothing and accessories in new London store launched by former Browns CEO

Eurostop, a leading supplier of retail management solutions for fashion, footwear and lifestyle, has announced that unique boutique The Place, based in London’s Connaught Street, has chosen Eurostop’s e-pos Touch solution to support its retail business. The Place was founded by Simon Burstein, former CEO of Browns, originally as a retail space and studio for designer Alice Archer, whose richly embroidered pieces are inspired by oil paintings. The Place is using Eurostop’s e-pos Touch at tillpoint for sales in the store, linked to a main back office server hosted by Eurostop. It enables the boutique to track all sales of its high end luxury items to manage stock and cash flow.

The Place chose Eurostop for its longstanding reputation and experience in delivering solutions designed specifically for retailers. Since launching in September, the Place already has many clientele from the local Bayswater area placing bespoke orders for its unique range of silk dresses, coats and separates by Archer. The store also carries three other labels; Sofie D’Hoore, a Belgian designer specialising in timeless separates, LNDR, a luxury activewear brand, leather books and accessories from Leathersmith of London, made at a bindery in the UK and owned by Burstein and bags from Launer, the Queen’s favourite.

Deborah Loh, Marketing Manager at Eurostop said; “We are delighted to be able to provide our retail system for The Place. Our retail experience has grown over the years such that we can deliver the right solution to support a retailer’s business – whether luxury high end boutiques providing unique shopping settings, independent retailers with a number of stores or large businesses with networked stores nationwide. Our focus has always been to design easy to use, sales and stock management systems that fit the business needs.”
